Lindsay Sayre
San Diego, CAHey, I'm Lindsay. I've led marketing teams, run operations, done acquisitions, and built products.
My background doesn't fit neatly into one box. I've stopped trying to make it.
Career
The short version.
Graduated college and turned down a job to chase what I thought was a million-dollar product idea. (Spoiler: it wasn't.) Hit a wall when I needed $13K for custom injection molds and didn't have it. So I figured something else out instead.
Used what I'd learned and started an ecomm business called Cache Creations. Made themed decoration packs for kids' birthday parties. Ran that for a few years.
Started consulting for other companies. Connected with a scrappy marketing agency called Reel Axis. What was supposed to be a month-long project snowballed into 5+ years. Worked my way up to Director of Marketing. Led a big team and managed millions in marketing dollars for enterprise tech clients.
Joined a venture-backed SaaS called Pandium as Director of Marketing. Systematized marketing and ops to kickstart the next phase of growth. Grew qualified lead volume by 49%.
Went back to consulting. Interesting recent client: Paperboy, where I helped bestselling authors, top 10 podcasters, and A-list actors grow their email newsletters.
Got an opportunity I couldn't pass up. Bought a struggling 20-year-old email SaaS called ReachMail. Overhauled operations and restored profitability in under a year. Still here.

Projects
Some things I've built.
Movies with Character
Find family films that fit your values.
Work in progress. Built this to get better at vibe coding.
AI Marketing Directory
An AI tools directory for marketers.
Grew it to 37K followers and 8M video views before getting acquired.
Freelancer Feed
Custom job-post alerts for Upwork.
Built this with my brother after Upwork annoyed me by sunsetting a feature I liked. Grew to several hundred users. We both got too busy and shut it down.
First Time Managers
A Slack community for new managers.
Started it because I needed it and couldn't find one. Met some interesting people. Shut it down after learning I actually hated managing a community. lol.
Personal
When I'm not working.
I row crew competitively and get to start my days with sunrises like this.
My entire family are diehard Ohio State football fans and I'm no better. O-H!
I love to read. Mostly just fun stuff, but I've been slowly working through this "100 books to read before you die" list for years. More than halfway now! 45 left to go.
I ride my road bike. I'd love to ride from LA to San Diego someday. Too scared of getting hit by a car.
Recently took up cross stitch as a doomscrolling replacement. Currently in the middle of my most ambitious project yet. I'll either finish it or abandon it dramatically.
